ZimSa Business Chamber 2024 Highlights
Below is a recap of some of the prestigious and transforming events we held, that facilitated for the growth of networks, connections and investment between our SADC stakeholders
01 Zimbabwe Investment Summit & Gala Dinner
We successfully co-hosted the Zimbabwe Investment Summit & Gala Dinner on the 2 nd and 3 rd of May 2024 at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Conference Centre where we also announced the launch of the Business Chamber. This event attracted over five hundred (100) physical attendees as well as thousands more across the globe who tuned in remotely via live stream and various news and media channels. Attendees included businesses, government representatives, and investors amongst many others as we facilitated deal-making, with several agreements concluded following the summit. At the same event, we were enthralled by presentations from the keynote speaker, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Finance Mthuli Ncube, the Executive Secretary of SADC, H.E Mr Elias M. Magosi, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Tourism Barbara Rwodzi, amongst other Ministers and businesspeople.
02 Trade and investment Networking Event & Dinner
On the 12 th of September 2024, we, in Partnership with Cotecna, a global verification and certification business that has just recently started operating in Zimbabwe, we hosted a networking dinner that was attended by over one hundred (100) businesses, small medium and large. Some of the key features included insightful presentations from The Permanent Secretary for The Zimbabwe Ministry of Commerce and Industry, The Ambassador of Zimbabwe to South Africa, Various Chambers of Commerce, and Private businesses, including Cotecna.
